S.I.M. - Students for Integrative Medicine
Students for Integrative Medicine is a student run organization whose aim is to bring educational opportunities to students and faculty in complementary and alternative medicine. Our goal is to supplement the basic science curriculum through a series of lectures/workshops, movie nights, panel discussions, and journal clubs on various healing techniques.

Events:
Acupuncuture Workshop
Movie Night: Cool Sexy Cancer
Meditation Workshop Series
Tuesday Morning Yoga
GI Health, Stress and Nutrition

How It All Started:
After starting our first year of medical school, we were disappointed to find that there were no courses in complementary and alternative medicine offered at Mount Sinai. Creating SIM was our way of supplementing the Sinai curriculum with workshops on different therapies that we feel have the potential to benefit our future patients and fellow students. We hope that this website will help to open up conversation in the community about Integrative Medicine so please feel free to contact us with any ideas, comments or suggestions!
